1. Who operates PicFeather
PicFeather is the operator of this technical-preview website. This policy applies to picfeather.com and explains the information processed when you use the site. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
2. Image compression and conversion
Image decoding, compression, format conversion, resizing, renaming, ZIP creation, and Excel export run inside your browser. PicFeather does not upload or store original images for these functions. Refreshing or closing the page clears the working queue, apart from files you have downloaded to your own device.
3. Optional AI metadata
AI processing starts only after you select Generate. PicFeather creates a reduced preview, up to 1024 pixels on its longest side, and sends that preview together with any context you entered to Cloudflare Workers AI. This may include an article title, nearby text, brand or product names, keywords, or preferred terminology when you provide them.
PicFeather uses the response to suggest an editable filename and English and Traditional Chinese alt text. PicFeather does not add application storage for the preview, prompt, or generated result. Cloudflare processes the request as the infrastructure and AI provider under its applicable terms and Workers AI data-usage documentation.
4. Optional analytics
PicFeather uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager only after you choose Accept analytics. Analytics may process the page visited, referral source, browser and device information, approximate region, timestamps, and aggregate feature interactions such as how many images were added, whether processing or AI metadata succeeded, the selected output format, and the type of download created.
Analytics is used to understand site traffic, diagnose broad usage patterns, and improve the workflow. PicFeather does not send image pixels, filenames, alt text, keywords, article context, brand or product names, form entries, exact file sizes, downloaded file contents, or other image-workspace text to Google Analytics.
Google may process analytics information on infrastructure outside your country. Learn more in Google's explanation of data from partner sites and its privacy policy.
5. Your consent choice
Essential browser storage records whether you accepted or declined analytics. If you do not make a choice, analytics remains off. Selecting Essential only does not reduce access to the image tools. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer and withdraw or grant consent at any time. Withdrawing stops analytics after the page reloads but cannot erase measurements already collected with your consent.
6. Retention and sharing
Your consent preference stays in your browser until you change it or clear site data. Analytics information is retained according to PicFeather's Google Analytics settings and is kept only for product measurement and improvement. PicFeather does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with service providers needed for the optional functions described above, or when required by law.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw analytics consent through Cookie settings. To make a privacy request, contact [email protected].
8. Policy updates
This page will be updated when PicFeather adds new input formats, advertising, accounts, payments, or other services that change how information is processed. Material changes will receive a new date and, where appropriate, a renewed consent choice.
